I withdrew from Ross during 3rd sem. Will AUA make me start from 0 as a transfer?

Here's a story as old as time: I'm a Ross student who would like to transfer to AUA.

I had to repeat first semester at ross after failing and have now withdrawn from 3rd due to personal issues at home (I won't bore you with the details). I got a C my first semester (the one I actually passed) and a C+ the second. I had a 60 average during 3rd when I withdrew. Re-applying to Ross is not an option. I'm from California, so AUA is my only option at this point.

I've heard that AUA will most likely take me, but that I may have to start from 0. I'm already a bit older than most medical students and I've already sunk a tremendous amount of money into my first year at Ross, so this is a huge deal to me.

My ideal scenario would be AUA allowing me to start as a 2nd or 3rd semester this fall, but I realize this is unlikely. Could any current or former AUA kids or anyone else with insight please shed some light on this me?

Also, please let me know how you're faring at AUA if you're a transfer.

I'm pretty anxious here, so I'd really appreciate your responses.
