Thank You AUA

I have been a member of the valuemd for several years now, since I started researching for my son, who wanted to be a doctor but didn't have good enough grades to be admitted into US medical schools. Make the story short, last Monday he matched into Internal Medicine program in NYC.
I would like to share my happiness with fellow members and express my gratitude to a school that gave my son a right to be called a MD. Without AUA and other Caribbean schools my son and other fellow doctors would be working in some other fields, not coming close to what they about to achieve in their lives.
It is second week now after the match and I still cannot believe that My Son Is A Doctor. It might be silly for some, but I consider myself a very happy parent and that is why I want to say thank you AUA for happiness in my life.
Following are some thoughts for prospective students. For all these years that I have been visiting valuemd I read a lot of bad staff about Caribbean schools. Some of it might be true, some not, but from my experience, I firmly believe that if a student put maximum efforts into studying the success will follow. A lot of students in Caribbean schools came there because they didn't get into American or Canadian school thinking that "islands" schools will be easy to finish - not true!
In these schools you have to study as hard or even harder than in the US or Canada to succeed or you will fail and leave. Half of my son's class left after first and second semester and some later. Don't even think that in Caribbean schools you will be able to game the system, you will lose your money and your time. Some students go home after a few days there, some after 1st, 2nd or 3rd semesters. Some will finish all 4 semesters but fail "Comp" or final exam. At the end it's up to you if you want to fight for your future or gave it up.
AUA is a good school that helped a lot of good people to find their destiny and I say Thank You AUA from myself, my son and hundreds of graduates that are working right now or about to start in the USA, Canada and other places.
P.S. based on my experience I know there are skeptics out there that might question my Long post, but its OK, they can, but in the end my life is happier because of AUA and I said what I wanted to say.
